A 4-week emotional skills workshop for kids ages 9โ12 โ where feelings get names, big emotions become manageable, and kids leave more confident than ever.
Art of Feelings is a fun, hands-on workshop designed to give kids the emotional tools they need to thrive. Over 4 Wednesday evenings in June, your child will explore feelings, learn healthy coping strategies, and build real confidence in a safe, supportive group setting.
Led by a certified Social Emotional Wellness Coach who holds a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. Every session blends art-based activities, movement, and conversation to make learning feel like play.
By the end of the workshop, your child will walk away with real, lasting emotional skills โ not just ideas, but tools they can actually use.
Learn what emotions are, why we feel them, and why they matter.
Identify and put words to complex feelings โ a superpower for any age.
Discover strategies that actually work when big emotions show up.
Practice calming techniques to feel more in control โ not overwhelmed.
Grow communication skills and self-belief through group activities.
Leave each session with tools to handle whatever comes next.
Each session builds on the last, creating a natural journey from awareness to action.
My Emotional Landscape โ Build your feelings vocabulary, explore the emotion wheel, and discover that every emotion โ even the hard ones โ is valid and worth understanding.
The Calm Inside the Storm โ Where do feelings live in your body? Learn to notice physical cues, practice breathing techniques, and find your personal calm anchor before feelings escalate.
When Feelings Get Loud โ Tackle the big, scary emotions, anger, sadness, fear, jealousy and discover that the loudest feelings carry the most important messages.
My Emotional Toolkit โ Bring it all together. Leave with a personalized, take-home toolkit of healthy coping strategies you can actually use when big feelings arrive..
